Singing & you
Anyone can learn how to sing. Regardless of age or music background. Even though some people may be more gifted than others, there is no pre-requisite for learning how to sing. Actually, the ability to “sing well” is rarely a gift. It's mostly muscle training. To believe singing is only a question of talet is to misunderstand what the human voice is and how it works.
Vocal emission is enabled by a mechanism that activates many parts of our body that will act together. Learning to sing is therefore learning how to make this mechanism work as well as possible in order to reach the voice's highest potential.
According to the principles of American vocal pedagogue Cornelius L. Reid, the approach must be as natural and precise as possible for a healthier and more durable result. My experience with students of all ages has allowed me to obtain excellent results using this method and that is what I want to teach. Everyone at their own pace and according to their own needs, the pleasure of singing in tune is within everyone's reach.
Private singing lessons
for children & adults
(amateurs & professionals). From 9 years old
Each lesson lasts a minimum of one hour and is divided into different parts. We begin with vocal training, which allows the vocal cords to acquire the muscle strength required for singing, next we work on a piece chosen by me in order to optimize the acquisition of proper vocal reflexes. The last part is dedicated to a song chosen by the student, that they enjoy singing (all styles are welcome).
During the lessons we will also address various psychological aspects. Unlike other instruments, the voice is a part of our body and therefore also very much linked to our mental state. We will discuss our relationship to our voice, self-confidence and what it means to be a professional singer for children who want to make a career out of singing.
French diction for singers
The lesson is private, lasts a minimum of one hour and is divided into different parts:
The first part is dedicated to reading an assigned text and, depending on the needs of the student, the execution of sounds is explained, followed by further reading practice. The second part will be practicing how to apply the concepts learned in a real singing situation for an effective result.
School programs
Practicing music is an excellent way to acquire certain skills and choir singing has the advantage of being accessible to everyone.
Singing in a group helps develop a musical ear, self-confidence, coordination and relationships with others while having fun.
Students will learn the basics of the mechanics of singing and the discipline needed to put on a musical performance.
A varied repertoire will be worked on: art music and modern music, various languages and multi-voice harmonies.

Based on my availability, it is possible to book individual or multiple non-regular lessons or offer singing lessons as gifts.
As one-time lessons do not allow for the development of proper vocal technique, we will focus on fundamental aspects. These include understanding the necessary musculature for singing and experiencing the basics of vocal production. This foundation will empower the student to correctly grasp, even independently, the possibilities of a free voice and truly experience the joy of singing.
We will then try to apply these first principles to any song the student wishes to sing.

ORIANNE D'ALIESIO
●Born in Lyon, Orianne was introduced to music from early childhood and it was at the age of 9 that her passion for lyrical singing began. She entered the singing classes of the Lyon region conservatory and joined the youth choir of the Rhône Alpes voice center with whom she participated in the creation of shows for festivals as a soloist and choir member.
●In 2008, Orianne entered the National Conservatory of Music in Geneva. During her years of study, she took part in many concerts, the Dixit Dominus by G.F. Haendel, the Magnificat by J.S. Bach and participated in the creation of the show Elie d'O. Rossel followed by a tour of Switzerland in 2008.
●Thanks to the Swiss soprano Audrey Michael, she further perfected her technique, and obtained a Bachelor's degree in interpretation at the National Conservatory of Music in Geneva.
●She then left for Japan, to study Japanese scholarly music at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo in the Advanced Soloist classes.
●Based in Tokyo since 2014 and under the tutelage of soprano Keiko Koizumi, Orianne mainly studies Japanese art music. With this training, she has been noticed and praised by the jury during the 2016 Sogakudo Japanese Melody Contest in Tokyo.

She also sings at private events for luxury brands (Cartier, Pommery, Andaz etc.). Orianne regularly teaches choir practice to 4th and 5th grade students at the Lycée Francais International in Tokyo.
●In addition to her lyric and musical comedy repertoire, Orianne has a passion for all forms of vocal music and created, together with Alexandre Bréal, the electro-rock group, morphing base.
●In 2022, Orianne founded, with actress and director Sophie Mathieu, Music Hall! Tokyo, a musical comedy school and has been offering singing courses in France since 2020 during the summer months.
●In parallel with her training and concerts, Orianne has devoted herself mainly for more than 10 years to her primary vocation: teaching singing and diction for many individuals and professionals.
